Stop Extrajudicial killings in Nigeria- Mr macaroni.

Nigerian Youth advocates, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni and Rinu Oduala, have called out the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to stop human dehumanization during drug raids.

It was gathered that the agents had come to arrest and seize hard drugs when some thugs revolted on Patey Street, Lagos Island. The result of the clash has led to some deaths.

Mr Macaroni, who took to his Twitter account said, “NDLEA!! Pls Do your job without killing and brutalizing Nigerians. We say no to drug abuse and we also say no to this barbaric behavior. You people said you want to save lives but you have started taking lives. Please do better!!!!”

Rinu Oduala also said, “I grew up in Patey, Lagos Island. If you know, you know about drugs in that hood.
We need a drug-free society!

We still say no to extrajudicial killings!”

BBNaija star, Mercy Eke, said the country was becoming unbearable.

She tweeted, “Nigeria is becoming so unbearable for its citizen. Killing and harassing your own people is not the way to go!! @ndlea_nigeria the youths are not the problem, the problem is YOU! Making the conditions of the people worse than they already are is UNFAIR!! DO BETTER! .#NDLEA.”(sic)

Ace talk show host and journalist, Frank Edoho, simply tweeted, “@ndlea_nigeria we implore you to stop fighting and causing fear and panic against your own citizens

Recall that in a short video clip, the victim, an Instagram comedian known as D-General, appeared to be challenging the NDLEA officials for invading his house while also filming the incident.

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency had arrested singers Zinoleesky and Mohbad after a midnight raid on their residence in Lagos.

Some viral videos on social media showed the operatives broke into the musicians’ home in the Lekki district of Lagos State in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The NDLEA officers were seen hitting the musician with clubs and shooting into the air, forcing them into waiting trucks.

Speaking of the development via their Twitter handle, the NDLEA said, “A lot of fake narratives have been going on what happened at Petty area of Lagos Island earlier today. Please disregard them. Truth is our operatives went for the arrest of a major drug kingpin and we got her and 5 others with almost 6,000kg of drugs despite attacks on our men.”
