Five Potential Clubs Lionel Messi Could Join Next Season ..

Lionel Messi, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, is poised to depart from Paris Saint-Germain after a brief two-year stint with the French champions. His contract with the Ligue 1 giants is set to expire at the conclusion of this season.

According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain has decided not to extend the World Cup winner's tenure at the Parc des Princes. As a result, teams from all over the world are now on high alert, eager to acquire Messi's services this summer.

Realistically, only Four clubs have a chance to sign the 35-year-old maestro, who was recently suspended by PSG for two weeks due to an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia.

1. Al Hilal
have offered more than €400m per season to Leo Messi — and it was one month ago.

2. Chelsea
Todd Boehly, the new owner of Chelsea, has been unafraid to spend lavishly since taking over the club from Roman Abramovich last year. He has invested a staggering £500million in acquiring new players for the team, signaling his desire to bring in high-profile names to aid in the club's reconstruction.

Therefore, it would not be surprising if Boehly attempts a bold move for the Argentine superstar.

3 .Manchester united
Similar to Chelsea, Manchester United are presently in the process of rebuilding their team.

It is probable that whoever assumes ownership of the club from the Glazers will seek to make a significant signing to signal their ambition and intent.

For Manchester United fans, there would be no bigger signing that could generate wild excitement than Messi.

4.  Manchester City

Ever since former manager Pep Guardiola took the helm at Premier League champions Manchester City, Messi has been linked with a move to the Etihad.

The prospect of a reunion between Messi and Guardiola, who worked together at legendary Barcelona, is a dream for fans. However, the acquisition could be complicated due to Financial Fair Play regulations.

5 .Barcelona
In the summer of 2021, Messi's 21-year-long association with Barcelona came to an end due to the club's severe financial crisis, which compelled them to release him.

Being compelled to depart from the Nou Camp was a heartbreaking experience for Messi, and he would undoubtedly seize the opportunity to return to Catalunya if given the chance.
