Lagos NURTW official, Kunle Poly sent to Ikoyi prison

An official of the National Union of Street Transport Laborers (NURTW) in Lagos, Alhaji Azeez Adekunle Lawal prevalently known as “Kunle Poly” has been remanded in Ikoyi Prison.

 A Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court on Monday February 28, requested that he be confined at Ikoyi prison for another 30 days, taking after the termination of the initial arrange given for him to be remanded for 30 days at Zone 2 Central command of the Nigeria Police, Onikan-Lagos over January turmoil in Idumota which driven to the passing of a few people. 

Kunle Poly who is being charged with trick to commit kill, kill and enrollment of an illegal society, is being kept nearby one Adekanbi Wahab, matured 38.

  Chief Officer Linda Balogun ordered that the NURTW official be remanded for 30 days pending exhortation from the Lagos State Directorate of Open Prosecution,  following an application by the prosecutor, Mr Morufu Animashaun,  joined to the State Criminal Examination Division (SCID) Panti. Balogun held that there was justify within the application, some time recently adjourning the case until Walk 28 for mention.
